Africa 4.0 Exploring Africa's Futures and the Fourth Industrial Revolution
Online Survey: Africa 4.0 Exploring Africa's Futures and the Fourth Industrial Revolution
Scenarios for Africa and the Fourth Industrial Revolution
The World Economic Forum has launched a wide stakeholder engagement process exploring potential scenarios for Africa’s future economic and social development with a focus on the opportunities the Fourth Industrial Revolution offers to connect markets, revitalize manufacturing and integrate innovation. As part of this process we would be delighted to hear from you.
The intent of this process is to engage Africa’s public and private sector leadership with the broader international community in a forward-looking strategic dialogue on possible pathways for the region’s economic and social development. The key outcome being sought is the development of new systemic insights and perspectives on how government, business and civil society in the region can address the continent’s most critical challenges by leveraging manufacturing ecosystems.
The World Economic Forum convenes this conversation by providing a neutral platform for driving this knowledge based engagement process. This includes this survey, interviews, analysis, consultations and dialogues online and at events, including the World Economic Forum on Africa, to be held in Durban on 3-5 May 2017.
The outcomes of this process will be published towards the end of 2017.
