The topic of this Futures Literacy UNESCO Knowledge Laboratory is sport as an embodiment or expression of society in the future. The aim in this workshop is to explore different sets of assumptions about the nature and functioning of sport in the future, including specific ideas about the role and position (or not) of sports federations. The idea is to think of a point in the future that is far enough away so that we can suspend our convictions and expectations of continuity and the inertia of the now.
